S-Type Pitot Tube are recommended specifically for flow / velocity measurement of dirty, particulate laden air or gas streams. Typical in environmental testing, large I.D. (1/4″ or more) tubing resists chocking under harsh, sooty conditions. Tube can be cleaned easily by passing air or water through it. Total & static pressure tubes are precisely aligned & arc welded together at every six inch, for maximum accuracy, strength and durability. 1/4″ BSP (F) connections easily adapt to any type of pipe or tubing.
Permanent engraved insertion depth graduation (optional) facilitates accurate positioning.
